All original works on the site, including all articles and any original graphics, are fully copyrighted and all rights are reserved.
Occasionally, articles on Metue are complemented with graphics that make use of corporate logos or product images available from the product manufacturers. These images, which may be copyrighted or trademarked, are used because they have a direct and explicit relationship to the content provided in the article, which is displayed for journalistic purposes. Any images so used, are used solely to correspond with the expression of the article, as is permissible under the Fair Use doctrines of US Copyright and Trademark law. Insofar as any such Fair Use includes the incorporation of Trademarks, Logos, Service Marks, or other Copyrighted materials into the creation of unique or derivative works, where “Unique or Derivative Works” includes but is not limited to collages, montages, “mash-ups,” or other creations not explicitly named herein, Metue and its agents expressly retain all rights to said original work and such works can not be re-displayed without the express written consent of Metue or its authorized agents.
Occasionally, images from stock photo agencies are used. These are usually employed as a canvas that may be painted as needed to suit the site’s needs but whether used for modified derivative works, or as unmodified originals, any stock images are subject to the license agreements from the sites that provided them and original authors retain the copyrights for their respective works if so provided in those agreements. Insofar as any such Licensed work is used in the creation of unique, or derivative works, where “Unique or Derivative Works” includes but is not limited to collages, montages, “mash-ups,” or other creations not explicitly named herein. Metue and its agents expressly retain all rights to said original Unique or Derivative work unless otherwise was explicitly enumerated in the license agreement under which the images were obtained. All rights are reserved and no work of Metue shall be displayed, rebroadcast or otherwise distributed without the prior express written consent of Metue or its authorized agents.
If you are the rights holder of copyrighted images and you believe your image was inappropriately made available through a stock photo agency, or has otherwise been used in a way that constitutes infringement, please contact me immediately through the form on the Contact Me page. For me to respond, you must also provide the following information:
- A description clearly identifying the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The location where the material is located on the Metue site.
- A declaration that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by you, the copyright owner, or by the owner (if you are the legally authorized agent of the owner), nor permissible by the law.
- A declaration, made under penalty of perjury, that any statements made by you regarding ownership of the infringing image or content, its use, or otherwise, are accurate, and that you’re making those statements as a legal copyright owner, or an agent legally authorized to act on an owner’s behalf.
- Your contact information including a mailing address and telephone number.
Every effort is made to respect the terms and rights of all licenses and works of original authorship. Any notice made to Metue under the above terms will be responded to promptly.

If you would like to reuse or reprint any image or content created for, or displayed on, Metue, whether your desired use is electronic or otherwise, please contact me using the form on the Contact Me page. On the form, be specific in explaining your desired use, and please provide any links to the site where you’d like to use the work.
While all rights are reserved, I may, on a case by case basis, allow limited re-use of the work.
